Single Ply Roofing was established in late 1970’s and has covered many domestic and commercial buildings, so it’s no surprise that in recent years it has become popular in the housing sector.

Single Ply roofing is a complete durable solution for keeping the heat inside your property and keeping the rain out. Some of the reasons for choosing single-ply is the install can be quick and effective which reduces any inconveniences at the customers property and reduces overall project costs.

Most Single-ply membranes can last between 20-40 years and have tuff durability and are tear resistant while most importantly providing a watertight seal.

Warm Deck

A single ply membrane is laid over thermal insulation which is sat on top of the vapour control layer keeping the roof deck warm during the cold seasons preventing condensation and water vapour entering the insulation.

Cold Roof Deck

Cold roof decks are traditional and a more cost effective design which involves placing the membrane directly onto the roof deck with insulation installed below the roof deck.

Inverted Warm Roof

Similar to the warm deck roof, except this method protects the single-ply thanks to special weather resistant insulation that is installed above each layer and held down by paying or stones.
