New Build, Cement Fibre Slate (Abergavenny) Principle Contractor: Persimmon Homes 

A great example of a cement fibre slate roof installed this new build site in Abergavenny. The team have been working tirelessly over the last couple of months, making sure that we meet our clients demands. all work has been carried out in accordance with BS5534, and we are really pleased with the progress.  

Single-Ply Flat Roof (Newport) Kingsley Developments

A Single Ply, Cold Roof Installation for one of our valued Clients at a beautiful property in Newport. with this roof we install a complete Fatra system. Fatra is one of the leading single ply systems throughout the uk and offers a great flexible, lightweight and cost effective solution offering a 20 year insurance backed guarantee on its products 

New Build, Concrete Interlocking tile (Pengam, Blackwood) Riversee Ltd

A full new roof installation for one of our clients at this a development in Pengam. we are in the process of completing the roofing package for these beautiful detached homes for one of our valued clients. we have installed complete new permeable underlay and 25x50mm BS5534 graded battens, Complete new vented eave and ridge system alongside dry fix valleys & verge systems. all work carried out by the team at A.Baul Roofing Contractors Ltd has been installed in accordance with BS5534 standards and signed off before handover.   

New Build, Slate Roof (Milton, Newport) Amaya Homes

Another great example of a cement fibre slate roof installation for one of our clients (Amaya Homes). with this install we installed a continues vented eave and ridge system, Glidevale  non-breather underlay, 25x50mm BS5534 graded battens & cembrit 300x600 Jutland slates. 

all work was carried out in accordance with BS5534 standards. 

Slate Roof, Cardiff

An extension in Cyncoed, Cardiff required a new slate roof. Cement fibre slate was supplied and installed alongside a black UPVC roofline. We also used clay capped ridges that were mechanically fixed. 

All slates were fixed using copper clout nails and copper rivets to make sure all slate and half's at verges are riveted to insure the roof is installed to the highest of standards. 

Fatra Single Ply Re-Roof, Cardiff

A Fatra Single-ply roof replacement we installed for our customer in Cardiff, On this project we removed the existing roof and ensured that the insulation was complaint with current building regulations. we then install new timber ferrings to create a slope, we then installed a 10mm over fascia vent with a 18mm OSB3 plywood deck. We then finished the roof of with a Fatra side-lap system and all window up-stand detail works. 

this system has a life expectancy of up to 50 years and comes with a 20 year insurance backed warranty. 

New Build Roof Installation (Gowerton, Swansea)

On this project A.Baul Roofing Contractors ltd, installed approximately 270m2 of Redland Cambrian slates. These slates are made from recycled Welsh slate and offer a lightweight solution to your roof whilst also going as low as 15 degrees. We installed new Protect Zeytec Permeable underlay (Wind Zone 1-4), 25x50mm BS5534 Graded roofing battens & Code 4 Lead valleys. complete continues eave and ridge systems where installed providing sufficient airflow. Another happy client!

Concrete Tile Roof & UPVC Roofline, Caerphilly

A full re-roof supplied and installed by A. Baul Roofing for our client in Bedwas, Caerphilly. The old roof was coming to the end of its lifespan and was in need of modernising with slate grey Marley modern tiles with a grey segmental ridge. We also supplied & installed UPVC fascia, soffits and guttering using a grained anthracite grey plastic with a Klober Uni-click Dry verge system.

All tiles were fixed using Marley solo tile clips and nailed at eaves and verges. All individual dry verge units were also screwed using stainless steel screws. At eaves we installed continuous vent sticks with a Manthorpe rafter tray and felt support tray. At ridge we used Hambleside Danelaw dry ridge system avoiding cement whilst also giving the loft space the required air flow.
